Biographical Sketch: Dr. Susan Xiao (Xiao Wenhui), received her degree in Medicine from Peking Union Medical College. She is the program director for Diabetes Education Program at Project HOPE Beijing Representative Office, and she also directed Project HOPE’s -China Rehabilitation Program from its inception. Dr. Shannon Houser is an associate professor in the Department of Health Services Administration of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her research interests include program evaluation, health IT adoption, usability, and impact on health outcomes. She is currently serving as an advisor for program monitoring and evaluation for Project-HOPE China projects.
