Biographical Sketch: As the Manager of Government Relations for APHA, Nicole Burda is responsible for promoting APHA’s legislative agenda and coordinating APHA’s grassroots advocacy activities, including working with APHA’s Action Board, state Affiliates and sections on the annual Public Health Action Campaign. Nicole has worked at the local, state and federal levels in public health. Most recently she worked as a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute fellow on the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee.
