Biographical Sketch: Sang Gon Nam is a PhD candidate in Department of Preventive Medicine and Community Health at the University of Texas Medical Branch. His research interests include health disparities in minority aging, global obesity, disability & mortality among older adults. His paper, “Waist Circumference, Body Mass Index, and Disability Among Older Adults in Latin American and the Caribbean” is under review at the international Journal of Epidemiology.
