Biographical Sketch: Dr. Jim P. Stimpson is currently Associate Professor, Graduate Program Director, and Director of the Center for Health Policy at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He earned his PhD in sociology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and received postdoctoral training at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Stimpson's research has been funded by numerous organizations including the National Cancer Institute and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. He currently teaches courses on health policy.
