Biographical Sketch: Gonzalo Bacigalupe, EdD, MPH: Associate Professor, Department of Counseling and School Psychology, and Director of the Family Therapy Program at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Adjunct Research Professor at the Family Medicine & Community Health, UMASS Medical School. Dr. Bacigalupe is Associate Editor of Family Systems & Health and Editorial Board Member of several referee journals. His research includes: transnational families and couples, political and family violence, refugees and immigrants' health and health disparities (chronic pain, medication strategies and literacy, asthma), and qualitative data analysis software. He has been Senior Fulbright Research Fellow, an APF grantee, and an UMASS E-Fellow.
