Biographical Sketch: Charlie Ransford is a Senior Researcher at Cure Violence, a strategic public health initiative to support community-based and city-wide violence prevention. His primary responsibility is to advance the theoretical basis for the Cure Violence model for preventing violence. In addition, Mr. Ransford also conducts research on the effectiveness of the model, drafts program related materials, helps to improve data collection, and contributes to the development and evolution of the model.
