Biographical Sketch: William Brieger is a Professor in the Health Systems Program of the Department of International Health, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Senior Malaria Adviser for Jhpiego, an affiliate of JHU. He worked for 26 years at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and developed a focus on the social and behavioral aspects of tropical disease control including malaria. He also focuses on training village health workers and peer health educators.
