Biographical Sketch: Jessica Duncan Cance is a PhD Candidate in the Health Behavior and Health Education Department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Gillings School of Global Public Health. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry from Georgia Tech and her Master's in Public Health from Emory University. Jessica is interested in biopsychosocial influences on adolescent risk behaviors and has a specific focus in adolescent substance use etiology and prevention. She was awarded a National Research Service Award (NRSA) training grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse to support her dissertation research and training in advanced statistical methods.
