Biographical Sketch: Ms. Sipsma is a doctoral candidate at Yale University School of Public Health whose primary area of research has focused on adolescent sexual risk behavior, pregnancy, and parenthood. Her work examines unique psychological constructs that lead to risky sexual behavior among young men and women. She is currently serving as an epidemiologist focusing on maternal and child health for Yale’s Global Health Leadership Institute. Prior to her work at Yale, Ms. Sipsma earned her bachelor’s degree in public health at Johns Hopkins University.
