Biographical Sketch: Dr. Briana Woods is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community and Behavioral Health at the University of Iowa, College of Public Health. Her research interests include: African American adolescent health; Co-occurring traumatic stress and health risk behaviors; Community-based participatory research; Health inequities; and implementation research. Dr. Woods’ current research involves partnering with communities to eliminate health inequities through evidence-based prevention and intervention programs and policies.
