Biographical Sketch: James E. Leone is an Assistant Professor of Health in the Department of Movement Arts, Health Studies, and Leisure Studies at Bridgewater State University. He has a Ph.D. in health education an M.S. in sports medicine research, and a B.S. in physical education. Dr. Leone has held faculty appointments at The George Washington University, Northeastern University, and Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Dr. Leone is a clinician, educator, mentor, and author. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in well-known journals and has presented his research well over 100 times. Dr. Leone’s academic interests include: male health, body image, drug abuse epidemiology (androgenic anabolic steroids), celiac disease, and issues in professional development. He is the author of Concepts in Male Heath: Perspectives across the Lifespan.
