Biographical Sketch: Dr. Nathan Nickel is a CGBI Research Associate with the Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy. Dr. Nickel’s research activities include (1) conducting implementation and evaluation research on evidence-based maternity practices, (2) using causal inference to identify the outcomes associated with breastfeeding, and (3) measuring and intervening on child health inequities.
