Biographical Sketch: Dr. Farhana Hamid-Scanlin has been a provider in Athens, OH since July 2013. She completed her training at Robert Morris University with degrees in both Bachelor of Science in nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice-Family Nurse Practitioner, in 2009 and 2013 respectively. Her research interests include health information technology, technology in nursing education and in clinical practice. This presentation to the APHA has also been accepted for publication in the Online Journal of Nursing Informatics.
