Biographical Sketch: Bonnie S. Richter, M.P.H., Ph.D. has been at the US Department of Energy since 1990. Her area of expertise is occupational epidemiology among nuclear workers. Dr. Richter has over 25 years experience in managing, planning and conducting epidemiologic studies among DOE workers and community residents near DOE sites potentially exposed to chemical wastes or radionuclides. She directed DOE’s Illness and Injury Surveillance system and developed a registry of beryllium exposed workers.
