Biographical Sketch: I am a MPH student in the Epidemiology and Biostatistics path starting the PhD program in Spring14. I am interested in cancer epidemiology, particularly cancer health disparities. I have presented posters in peer-reviewed conferences: the American Society for Preventive Oncology, the North American Association of Central Cancer Registries, and the Nevada Public Health Association. Moreover, I received a small research grant from the Institute of Health Promotion, San Antonio TX and several awards and scholarships.
