Biographical Sketch: Miranda Worthen is an Assistant Professor of epidemiology in the Department of Health Science and Recreation at San Jose State University. She earned her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of California, Berkeley. She earned her BA from Harvard and her MPhil in International Development from Oxford University. Prior to her work with U.S. Veterans, Dr. Worthen spent 7 years working with young mothers who were child soldiers in West Africa.
