Biographical Sketch: Lauren Walsh is currently a Senior Research Associate at the National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health and the Managing Editor of the Journal of Disaster Medicine and Public Health Preparedness. She has an MPH in Epidemiology and is slowly working toward a doctorate in Environmental Health Sciences. In addition, she is the Communications Co-Chair of the newly forming Emergency Health Services and Disaster Preparedness sub-section within APHA.
