Biographical Sketch: Kristen Haven is an MPH student in the Family and Child Health concentration at the University of Arizona's Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. She also holds an MA in English. Through the Maternal and Child Health Scholar Training Program, Kristen works as an intern and research assistant for Dr. Richard Carmona at Canyon Ranch Institute in Tucson, AZ. She is interested in chronic disease prevention and management, particularly among children.
