Biographical Sketch: Matthew Stefanak served as Health Commissioner of the General Health District in Mahoning County, Ohio from 1988-2012. As chief executive officer of the Mahoning County District Board of Health, he led a health department serving 172,000 residents in 24 townships and municipalities in Mahoning County. Mr. Stefanak received his MPH degree from Johns Hopkins University and is a past president of the Ohio Public Health Assocation.
