Biographical Sketch:
Lynne C. Messer is a social and reproductive / perinatal epidemiologist whose work focuses developing environmental and neighborhood measures to address maternal and child health disparities. She earned her Ph.D. from the Department of Epidemiology and her M.P.H. from the Department of Health Behavior and Health Education at the University of North Carolina. She is an assistant professor in the School of Community Health, College of Urban and Public Affairs, at Portland State University.
