Biographical Sketch: Mendel Singer is an Associate Professor of Public Health at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He is also the founding director of the Jewish Community Health Initiative, which strives to help Jews lead healthier lives. His research has been in comparative effectiveness research, obesity and health behavior. He also writes a health blog for the Cleveland Jewish News, and serves on the board for the Jewish Family Services Association's Families-at-Risk Services division.
