Biographical Sketch: Turquoise Griffith graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2012 with a Masters of Public Health in Health Behavior and Health Education. Her research interest are investigating social determinants of health-both mental and physical-for African American incarcerated men, specifically living with HIV. She is also interested in law and educational policies examining how the criminalization and incarceration of youth of color manifest through the school system.
