Biographical Sketch:
Richard has a PhD in Health Policy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is a nurse with board certification in public health and Masters' degrees in Public Health and Community Health Nursing from Johns Hopkins. Currently, he is an assistant professor at the University of New Mexico College of Nursing. His research interests currently lie in quality of life issues and social determinants of health. Richard is a returned Peace Corps Volunteer.
