Biographical Sketch: LaShanta J. Rice is a PhD Candidate at the Arnold School of Public Health in the Department of Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior at University of South Carolina (USC). Ms. Rice is an Environmental Protection Agency Science to Achieve Results (EPA STAR) Fellow. She is currently involved in research at USC in the Institute for Partnerships to Eliminate Health Disparities. Her research interests include women’s health, environmental exposures, cancer, and health disparities.
