Biographical Sketch:
Richard P. Brown, M.D., Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry, Columbia University, develops movement, breathing and meditation techniques to improve energy, anxiety, sleep, PTSD, and stress resilience. A certified teacher of Aikido (4th Dan), yoga, qigong, and meditation, his programs rapidly relieve psychological and physical symptoms following trauma and mass disasters. Dr. Brown and co-author, Dr. Gerbarg, wrote The Healing Power of the Breath, a book and CD for learning his techniques (Shambhala in 2012). www.haveahealthymind.com.
