Biographical Sketch: Kamila A. Alexander is a PhD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She is a Ruth L. Kirschstein Individual NRSA Pre-doctoral Fellow in the Centers for Health Equity Research and Global Women’s Health where she is mentored by nurse scientist, Dr. Loretta Sweet Jemmott. Her dissertation research explores the meanings of affective processes on sexual experiences and decision-making among Black emerging adult women ages 18 to 25 years old.
