Biographical Sketch: Jo Brocato, Assistant Professor MSW and Ph.D., Florida International University, Jo Brocato teaches at California State University Long Beach in the School of Social Work and she is a licensed clinical social worker in California and Florida. She teaches Substance Use Disorder Assessment and Treatment, Research and Practice courses. Prior to teaching she developed and administered programs for HIV prevention and testing,substance use, and mental health disorders in culturally diverse south Florida.
