Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Hall joined the University of Florida in 2003 and serves as an Associate Director for the University of Florida’s Center for Medicaid and the Uninsured (FCMU). She is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Services Research, Management, and Policy in the College of Public Health and Health Professions. Dr. Hall is interested in issues related to access to care for vulnerable populations including Medicaid, the health care safety net, and primary care delivery systems. Currently she serves as one of the investigators on a project to evaluate Medicaid reforms in Florida. Prior to joining the University of Florida, Dr. Hall worked for the United Hospital Fund (UHF) of New York and was an adjunct assistant professor at New York University. Dr. Hall also served as a program officer at the Commonwealth Fund where she was responsible for managing grant programs related to improving the health of members of racial and ethnic minority groups. She has also served as a health care consultant in Guyana and Jamaica. Dr. Hall holds a Ph.D. in Health Policy from the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health and a MBA/MHA degree from the University of Florida.
