Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I direct a project funded through the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant through the Pennsylvania Department of Health to improve health literacy in Southeastern Pennsylvania. For the past 3 years, my organization, in partnership with Thomas Jefferson University/Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, has led a regional coalition aimed at enhancing health care providers’ capacity to respond to health literacy needs and foster improved understanding of cardiovascular health information by adults 50 and older.
