Improving Pregnancy Outcomes: Integrating Systems-Related Change

This session will highlight systems-level factors and innovative prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care strategies for improving maternal and infant outcomes. Topics include preconception determinants of birth delivery method, integrated pregnancy care models, PTSD screening in high-risk populations, and nurse home visiting.
Session Objectives: By the end of the session, participants will be able to: Identify systems-level factors associated with maternal and infant outcomes during the prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods Describe innovative prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal programming for improving maternal and infant outcomes in high-risk populations.
