The purpose of this session is to share successful and innovative population health practices employed by various state health departments. This session covers strategies from interpreting quantitative data, to utilizing GIS methods, and translating finding to relevant messages for state and local policy makers.
Session Objectives: Describe state health departments’ successful and innovative strategies to improve population health. Identify strategies that can shared and/or adapted for use in other state health departments nationwide.
