This panel showcases the innovative work of 4 communities that have developed innovative local data systems to identify populations and regions experiencing health disparities, inform development of community-based environmental and system interventions, and evaluate the impact of CTG-funded public health interventions. The presentations address use of GIS as a health strategy planning tool, aggregation and alignment of data sources, and simulation modeling to forecast health impacts.
Session Objectives: 1. Demonstrate communities using innovative approaches and data to inform selection, implementation, and evaluation of public health interventions.
2. Discuss data resources and accompanying technology available to communities for public health planning.
