Epidemiology of Sleep in Diverse Populations

Members attending this session will obtain information on the epidemiology of sleep and its correlates with health outcomes throughout the life cycle.
Session Objectives: Describe the social, developmental, and contextual correlates of sleep duration in adolescence and young adulthood. Describe the relationship of children’s TV behavior to sleep duration throughout early childhood. Discuss the relationship between shift work and obesity.
