Session attendees will obtain information on the role of epigenetics, longitudinal trajectories of neighborhood poverty, social outcomes and how poverty influences individual and public health.
Session Objectives: Describe the role of epigenetics in developmental origins of disease research. Compare methods for assessing longitudinal trajectories of neighborhood poverty. Discuss the potential implications of using longitudinal data to measure trajectories of neighborhood poverty with respect to birth outcomes. Discuss how social integration and neighborhood poverty influence health.
