Epidemiology

The Epidemiology Section invites the submission of late breaker abstracts related to epidemiology for the 142nd APHA annual meeting, November 15-19, 2014 in New Orleans. Please follow the directions on the website. Abstracts must describe studies that have not been previously submitted to APHA. Abstracts submitted without results will not be reviewed. Studies that relate to the main theme of the conference, “Healthography -  How where you live affects your Health and Well-Being”, will receive highest priority. Summissions of topics that relate to New Orleans in an epidemiological context are encouraged but not not exclusive.

Individuals should submit material only if they, or a designee, are committed to presenting the paper or poster and be registered for the conference. Preferences for oral versus poster presentation will be considered, but the program committee will make the final determination. The deadline for late breakers is Wednesday July 23, 2014. Decisions will be sent to abstract submitters in mid to late August.
