Healthography: How Where you Live Affects Your Health and Well-being

Submission Deadline: Thursday, July 31, 2014

The International Health Section invites the submission of late breaker abstracts related to global health for the 142nd APHA annual meeting, November 15-19, 2014 in New Orleans. Abstracts may be submitted through the APHA website. Please follow the directions on the website. 

Abstracts must be 300 words or less with the standard background, methods, results, and discussion sections. Abstracts related to global health policy, advocacy, programmatic activities, and health systems strengthening that may not fall under the standard template are also welcome.  Studies that are specific to the theme of the conference, “Healthography -  How where you live affects your Health and Well-Being”, will receive highest priority. Individuals should submit material only if they, or a designee, are committed to presenting the paper or poster and be registered for the conference. Preferences for oral versus poster presentation will be considered, but the program committee will make the final determination.
