Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am currently employed at Public Health Seattle and King County where I manage Community Health Worker (CHW) programs that are addressing chronic disease self-management for people living with asthma and diabetes. Formerly, I was a Program Director, and later a volunteer board member, for Migrant Health Promotion, a national organization that utilizes the Promotora/CHW model to address health disparities in rural and disenfranchised communities.
