Through interdisciplinary training in Women and Gender Studies, Mexican American Studies, and Public Health, my work employs an intersectionality framework where I can investigate the impact of racial/ethnic discrimination, gender-based sources of acculturative stress, and culturally protective assets on mental health outcomes.
