I have served as a Federal Monitor for medical care in NY, OH, FL, CT, and MI. I represented the APHA on the National Commission for Correctional Health Care for 17 years. I was the Director of the Montefiore Rikers Island Health Services, responsible for providing medical and mental health services for prisoners in NYC’s jails.
