I have conducted research projects in Baltimore, Maryland and Kenya and published on alcohol use among college students in the USA and HIV/AIDS in Kenya. I have received grants to conduct HIV/AIDS research in Kenya, in Somali Youth in Columbus Ohio and service providers examining gender based and sexual violence in women and children in Botswana.
