This presentation will include original research from Hospital Bernard Mevs Project Medishare Wound Care Program, specifically the Diabetic Foot Program. It will examine diabetic foot ulcer healing rates before and after program implementation. This is an important study as it will start to provide data that has not previously exisited for developing countries and the care of the diabetic foot ulcer. This will show the importance of a comprehensive diabetic foot program and the impact on healing rates of diabetic foot ulcers in developing countries.
