This film was created to solicit financial support for the advancement of nursing in Haiti. Supported by grant funds from the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, this short film on the Regis College Haiti Project (RCHP) was produced to engage potential funders in efforts to educate nurses in a developing nation. A secondary aim was to promote the RCHP, a highly targeted, sustainable, international development initiative aimed at improving patient care and health outcomes in Haiti through advancing nursing education and credentialing [1]. We hope to garner additional support of colleagues committed to advancing health across the globe, and to share this model for replication throughout the world and across disciplines.

Primary targets for this film are donors, philanthropists and foundations. Secondary target audiences include nursing and allied health scholars and leaders engaged in global health.

Human resources for health (HRH) has been a focus of global health innovation for sustainable impact on health care delivery, notably in developing nations [2-4].

In November, 2014 this film was premiered at a donor event and raised $75,000. Additionally, the film has been presented at an international conference and to faculty and students within our institution. Project support has increased, both financially and with human capital. Today we find increased volunteerism and opportunity for future collaborations with faculty and leaders across the nation, along with a diversified pool of financial sponsors.

The film is presented by directors of the project in conjunction with a dialogue or a professional presentation that outline the program delivery.
