Review of assigned article on evaluation

This part of the workshop will involve a class discussion on an evaluation article assigned beforehand. We will address a number of key questions, such as: was the correct evaluation design used; was there evidence that the evaluation design was developed at the start of the program; was there evidence that the program and the evaluation used logic models, and had performance measures; and was the design of the program evidence-based or evidence-informed?

Conduct evaluation related to programs, research, and other areas of practice

She has been responsible for program evaluations in the two state health departments for which she worked (Maryland and Minnesota); and has done program evaluation training for state public health professionals for 20 years through the MCH Leadership Skills Training Institute and the MCH Epidemiology training program. She co-authored a textbook on needs assessment
