In this session, part II of data visualizations: plots and graphs, participants will use R studio to explore plot data using hands-on exercises and partially filled scripts.  At the end of the session, participants will complete a brief quiz covering the topics discussed in this session.

Describe the importance of data visualization Demonstrate how to effectively display public health data visually using R. Discuss some appropriate “dos and don’ts” for effective use of tables/charts/graphs/figures in scientific manuscripts or poster presentations.
