This presention addresses associations between elder mistreatment and self-reported health and mental health symptom presentations and are reported in terms of elder abuse subtypes, race, and ethnicity in two nationally representative samples (N = 540, N=5777). As  data are derived from the national women's study (older adult subsample) and the national elder mistreatment study, both of which are cross sectional, analyses are necessarily  correlational.
