Engaging people, place and systems for collective action takes a lot of work and turning the tide on health inequities even more!  All of this work can be for naught without a sustainability plan developed at the outset of any new campaign that ensures the fruits of your labor will last beyond current “funding du jour.“ This session will present strategies on how to use legal and policy tools to leverage and sustain your efforts far beyond current funding cycles or political leadership.

Public health or related laws, regulations, standards, or guidelines

Learning Objectives:
Identify at least four strategies for leveraging law and policy to improve health equity.
