Thailand: Burmese Youth Working on Construction Sites

Video produced by Burmese youth participating in the human rights training project in Thailand supported by Terre des Hommes France and led by the Foundation for Education and Development.

These youth learnt how to use a video camera and then went out to meet other young Burmese who left their country to work on construction sites in southern Thailand in order to help their families.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have 27 years experience in creating health communication visual media in North Carolina. I am also the Co-Founder of the APHA Global Public Health Film Festival. In conjunction with Dr. Pamela Luna, I helped create information sessions on Human Trafficking in the UK. While there, I met with Ignacio Packer, Secretary General of Terre des Hommes. Due to his inability to travel to Chicago, he asked that I introduce this film.
