Let’s Move! Cities, Towns and Counties (LMCTC) is a major component of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! initiative, which is dedicated to reversing the childhood obesity epidemic within a generation. As part of this initiative, LMCTC calls upon local elected officials to commit to five goals that are intended to create healthier, more livable communities. Learn about the initiative’s framework, results to date, and how the City of Kenmore, WA (population 21,000) has successfully implemented the five goals of LMCTC and made improving children’s health a city priority.
