Climate change threatens worker health and productivity due to extreme and enduring heat stress and other impacts such as increasing rates of ozone-related illness, including asthma, that affect key economic drivers such as employee absenteeism and school attendance/performance. As innovative businesses and entrepreneurs continue to drive down the cost of clean, low/no-carbon energy, including solar, the economy is moving beyond polluting energy sources toward a safer, more sustainable, healthier future.
