Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have interviewed 45 practitioners and thought leaders in the field of small-staffed philanthropy on what leadership means in our field, and have interviewed 40 more philanthropists to chronicle stories of leadership on issues. I synthesized these interviews in articles to convey the essence of leadership in small-staffed philanthropy, the qualities and skills of leadership, and the on-ramps to leadership. A major theme I have explored is how small funders catalyze change on important issues.
